Michael Adamson attained his B.Mus. at Boston University and subsequently attended the Royal Academy of Music in London. He also studied with members of leading string quartets: Griller, Tatrai, Kolisch, Hungarian and Amadeus. Returning to Canada after a concert career of several years in Europe, he has continued solo, chamber and orchestral activities in Ontario including serving as concertmaster for the York Symphony and artistic director for the Apollo Chamber Orchestra. Currently, he is the founder and violinist of the Amity Trio, Simcoe's premiere chamber music ensemble.
